Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that the smash hit Broadway comedy It's Only a Play, which opened on Broadway on October 9, 2014, has extended its run through Sunday, June 7, 2015. Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4th, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), where it will now play through June 7th. Tickets are now on sale for all performances. The Old Globe today announced it will open its 2015-2016 Season with In Your Arms, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). Co-conceived by Gattelli and Jennifer Manocherian, In Your Arms features 10 dance vignettes written by an incredible and diverse lineup of theatre powerhouses, including Douglas Carter Beane, Nilo Cruz, Christopher Durang, Carrie Fisher, David Henry Hwang, Rajiv Joseph, Terrence McNally, Marsha Norman, Lynn Nottage, and Alfred Uhry. Among them, the creators have amassed 14 Tony Awards, five Pulitzer Prizes, six Pulitzer finalist designations, and one Academy Award. (more...)

The producers of Broadway's newest comedy Living on Love just announced that Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills, 2-time Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson will join 4-time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming in the production. Living on Love, by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, begins performances on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and opens on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Tony® Award winner Matthew Broderick has extended his contract with Broadway's smash hit It's Only A Play. Originally scheduled to appear in the production through its original closing date of January 4th, Broderick will continue to star in the production through its new end date on March 29, 2015. Broderick currently stars in the production opposite Nathan Lane, who exits on January 4th for a previously scheduled professional commitment. Beginning January 7th, Broderick will headline It's Only A Play opposite the previously-announced Martin Short. (more...)

With an original book & lyrics by Brian Hargrove and music by Barbara Anselmi, It Shoulda Been You puts a refreshingly modern spin on the traditional wedding comedy, proving that when it comes to wedding day insanity, it's all relative.
