Tony Award winner Linda Lavin and director Lynne Meadow, who collaborated on MTC's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, reunite for a new production of Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies' celebrated drama also starring Sarah Paulson. Collected Stories chronicles the relationship between two female writers: Ruth Steiner (Lavin), a celebrated New York author with a dry wit and a distinguished career; and her bright-eyed young protege, Lisa Morrison. Rubicon Theatre Company continues its 2009-2010 Season with a revival of BETH HENLEY's Pulitzer Prize-winning play CRIMES OF THE HEART. Set in Mississippi in 1974 (five years after Hurricane Camille), this sweet, sexy comedy follows the travails of the three Magrath sisters, who come together at the family home in Hazelhurst when the youngest Babe is charged with shooting her husband 'cause she didn't like his looks.'

The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards were held last night, March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event was hosted by Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. Colman Domingo's 'A Boy and His Soul', produced by the Vineyard Theatre, won the Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway award, while 'She Likes Girls' by Chisa Hutchison took home the award in the Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway category. The Broadway musical HAIR received a Special Recognition Award for their support of LGBT equality.
