The Ustinov Studio, Bath has announced the cast for the second production in its spring 2015 season, the UK premiere of John Patrick Shanley's bittersweet romantic comedy OUTSIDE MULLINGAR, directed by Sam Yates, from 16th April - 16th May.

Many of us fondly remember East is East as the film that was released in 1999 - a superb comedy that also tackles the conflict of interest within a multi-cultural family. However, a lot of people are unaware that it was a play beforehand, debuting in Birmingham in October 1996, also featuring Linda Bassett as Ella, before transferring to the Royal Court Upstairs the following year. The show was writer Ayub Khan Din's first play following a successful career as an actor. We are very lucky to have the man himself starring as George in this short UK tour following a well-received run at the Trafalgar Studios.

Jamie Lloyd Productions' Trafalgar Transformed production of East is East, running from this Saturday 4 October at Trafalgar Studios, will release its initial batch of £15 Monday tickets on Wednesday 1 October from 10.00am. Tickets can be purchased via the box office in person or online (2 tickets per person per booking) 24 hours only. The dates on sale will be 13, 20, 27 October and 3 November, and will include every seat in the entire auditorium.

Jane Horrocks will star alongside Khan Din in his play, which centers on a married couple raising children in Salford and is based on Khan Din's own childhood experiences.

Ruth Wilson stars in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth acts in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and makes her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth will act in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and will make her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season from tonight, 6 December - 30 December, with press nights on the 12 & 13 December. Design is by Richard Kent, with lighting by Neil Austin and original composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski. The El. Train is being produced by Found Productions.
