San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego REP) presents 'Venus In Fur' by David Ives as the third installment of the company's 38th season. 'Venus In Fur' is a production The New York Times calls '90 minutes of good, kinky fun.' Directed by San Diego REP Co-Founder and Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse, previews for 'Venus In Fur' begin Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013. Opening night is Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 in the Lyceum Space.

San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego REP) in partnership with the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) will present "In the Heights" by Quiara Alegria Hudes as the first production of the company's 38th season. The Tony and Grammy Award-winning production was conceived by and with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the San Diego REP production is directed by Sam Woodhouse and starring Jai Rodriguez.

National New Play Network Adds San Diego Rep as 26th Member

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, has added its 26th member, San Diego REPertory Theatre, and approved guidelines for a new Associate Membership category which will greatly broaden the Network's reach. The decisions were made by the organization's Board of Directors at its Annual Conference on June 8 in Kansas City, MO, hosted by member Unicorn Theatre Company.

San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announces its 37th season that opens with a significant work of Latino drama and continues with six more provocative and eye-opening new American productions. "Our curiosity about the changing world we live in provokes us to look hard and deep for those plays that take us to places we have never been and look at the world through eyes that are not are own," says Sam Woodhouse, co-founder and artistic director, San Diego REP. The search for the productions to be presented during the 2012-2013 season resulted in a collection of seven theatrical events that are about the quest of Americans to become their best selves, individually and together.
