When an armistice was declared to halt the Korean War in 1953, hundreds of thousands of families were left divided on either side of the Korean Demilitarised Zone: since 2000, nineteen reunions have been organised by the state with a select few invited across the border to temporarily reunite with family they have not seen in over fifty years. After these reunions they will never meet again.

Fifth Word has announced the full cast for their forthcoming UK tour of Lava, the bold new writing company's latest production with co-producer Nottingham Playhouse. Kacey Ainsworth is most well known as long-running character Little Mo in Eastenders. More recently, the award-winning actress has starred in ITV's Grantchester and on stage as Mrs Lovett in the Liverpool Everyman's production of Sweeney Todd where she received rave reviews for her performance. Dan Parr more recently performed in Road at the Royal Court Theatre, London and at Leeds Playhouse's pop-up theatre.

Following a successful run at HOME, Manchester, Switchflicker Productions today announce the London première and UK tour of Chanje Kunda's Plant Fetish. Darren Pritchard directs Chanje Kunda in this one woman show. The production opens as part of the 2020 Vault Festival from 21-22 March, with previews at Oldham Coliseum on 10 March, before touring to Hull Truck Theatre, Bury MET, Salisbury Playhouse, Bernie Grants Arts Centre, and Pound Arts, concluding its run at The Holbeck on 28 June.

Jay McGuiness, Kimberley Walsh and Daniel Casey will star as Sam, Annie and Walter respectively in SLEEPLESS, A Musical Romance, based on the original screenplay Sleepless in Seattle. They are joined by Harriet Thorpe as Eleanor, Tania Mathurin as Becky and Jake Sharp as Rob. SLEEPLESS will premiere in London on 1 April 2020 at the newly opened Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, London, with previews from 24 March.

A brand new production of the classic thriller, Dial M for Murder, tours the UK in 2020, having opened at Richmond Theatre on January 14th 2020. The genre-defining thriller - based on Frederick Knott's stage and screen play, made world-famous by Hitchcock's iconic 1954 film is directed by Anthony Banks. Samantha Womack takes over the role of Margot from Sally Bretton from the 14th April, in Milton Keynes where she tours with the company to Birmingham, Cardiff, Leicester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Mold, Brighton, Shrewsbury and Salford. Her run concludes in Northampton on June 27th.
Casting Announced For The RSC's 2020 Production Of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS

Casting details are announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) 2020 Summer production of The Comedy of Errors, which plays in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from 25 April 2020. Joining the previously announced Miles Jupp, who will make his RSC debut as Antipholus of Syracuse, is Jonathan Broadbent (Dromio of Syracuse), Justin Edwards (Antipholus of Ephesus), Greg Haiste (Dromio of Ephesus), Georgia Landers (Luciana) and Annette McLaughlin (Adrianna). Directed by Phillip Breen, the production will be cross-cast with The Winter's Tale (from 28 March 2020) and Pericles (from 15 August 2020). All three plays are sponsored by Darwin Escapes.
Actors Touring Company Has Announced the Cast of AMSTERDAM UK Tour

A fresh cast has been announced for ATC's 11-week UK-wide tour of Maya Arad Yasur's audacious play Amsterdam. It will be the first tour under Artistic Director Matthew Xia, recently named in The Stage's Top 100 Most influential People in Theatre.
