Following in the wake of a critically acclaimed tour with fellow American Idol alum, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken is hitting the road once again. The singer who first wowed audiences in the 2003 American Idol competition, will hit 20 cities across the U.S. beginning February 10, 2011, which includes his third PlayhouseSquare visit for one 7:30 pm performance Saturday, February 19th at the Palace Theatre.

Elaine Paige, the renowned British musical stage star, recording artist and actress who recently celebrated her 40th anniversary on stage, is in New York City recording a new "Duets" album for Warner Bros Records that is being produced by the legendary Phil Ramone. Among the internationally renowned recording artists participating in the venture are (in alphabetical order): Paul Anka, John Barryman, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Olivia Newton John, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Billy Ocean, Le Ann Rimes, Jon Secada, Neil Sedaka and Dionne Warwick.

Nigel Lythgoe will return to his role as an executive producer of 'American Idol' for the show's tenth season, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Lythgoe, who was an executive producer during the show's first seven seasons, will be one of four executive producers, along with Simon Fuller, Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.

The Broadway Church Ladies will perform their 'Back on Broadway' Show at the Triad Theater at 158 West 72nd St, New York City, Saturday, July 17th 7p.m. The Church Ladies, played by Leilani Bryant, Yolanda Wyns, and Teresa Stanley, were the ever-present trio in Oprah Winfrey's Broadway production of The Color Purple. They appear virtually in every scene of the award-winning production, starring Fantasia as Celie. The show is anchored by The Church Ladies whose contrasting personalities blend gossip, song, and comedy.

PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. The 'American Idol Live!' tour begins today in Auburn Hills, Michigan, the official 'American Idol' website announces. The tour will feature Season Nine winner Lee DeWyze, as well as fellow Top Ten members Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Michael Lynche, Tim Urban, Siobhan Magnus, Casey James, and Crystal Bowersox.
