A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company led by Producing Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, continues its 22nd season and the third season in its new Pasadena home with Endgame by Samuel Beckett, openingSaturday, October 26 and closing Saturday, November 23, 2013, with previews starting October 19. Endgame, directed by Geoff Elliott, is performed in repertory with Pericles, Prince of Tyre by William Shakespeare, September 14 through November 24, and The Guardsman by Ferenc Molnar, October 5 through November 30.

Primary Stages has announced that Richard Topol (Broadway's The Normal Heart, The Merchant of Venice) will assume the role of Yogi Berra in their World Premiere production of Bronx Bombers, written and directed by Tony Award nominee Eric Simonson (Broadway's Lombardi). Due to artistic differences, Joe Pantoliano, initially announced to play the role of Yogi Berra, will not continue with the production. The production has delayed its first performance to tonight, September 20. Opening night remains scheduled for October 8 at 7pm. Bronx Bombers runs through October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Producers Howard Panter and John Frost today confirmed that the new Australian production ofRichard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show will play a limited season at Melbourne's Comedy Theatre opening April 26 following seasons at the Brisbane's Lyric Theatre in January, the Crown Theatre, Perth in February and the Festival Theatre, Adelaide in March. Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its final main stage production of the 2013 season, Death Tax by Lucas Hnath. Georgia Clinton, Stormi Demerson, John Forkner, and Laurel Whitsett will star in this dark comedy, running Thursday, October 17 through Sunday, November 10 at Amphibian's theater at 120 S. Main Street. Rene Moreno will direct the production.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus receives its world premiere at the Finborough Theatre, playing for a four week season from Tuesday, 1 October 2013 (Press Night: Thursday, 3 October 2013 at 7.30pm). A sold-out workshop production of Black Jesus at the Harare International Festival of Arts, Zimbabwe, was described by the Guardian as 'a highlight of the festival'.
