Williams Street Repertory, McHenry County's growing professional theater company, is excited to announce casting for its upcoming production of "Ring of Fire." This show pulled straight from the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash opens on July 6, 2018 at Raue Center For The Arts and runs select dates through August 12, 2018.

Following its critically acclaimed hit LIZZIE, Firebrand Theatre, the first musical theatre company committed to employing and empowering women by expanding opportunities on and off the stage, is pleased to conclude its inaugural season with the musical comedy 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, book by Patricia Resnick, direction by Artistic Director Harmony France, music direction by Andra Velis-Simon and choreography by Kasey Alfonso.

Porchlight Music Theatre made its debut at The Arts Club of Chicago, 201 E. Ontario Street, with its hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 1959, hosted by Gene Weygandt, directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo with music direction by David Fiorello, Tuesday, February 27.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the second production in its 2017 2018 season of Chicago's hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 1959, hosted by Gene Weygandt, directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo with music direction by David Fiorello, Monday, Feb. 26 at Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Skokie at 7:30 p.m. In tribute to the original New Faces series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre created the Chicago musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway as a showcase for the best emerging music talent now performing on Chicago stages.

To celebrate a new cast and its second year in the West End, Sonia Friedman Productions has today released brand new production photography for the critically acclaimed, multi award-winning musical Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre in London, which is currently booking through to 2nd June 2018.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the second extension of Billy Elliot the Musical through Sunday, Dec. 31. Billy Elliot the Musical with music by Elton John and book and lyrics by Lee Hall is directed and co-choreographed by Porchilght Artistic Associate Brenda Didier, with Co-Choreographer Craig V. Miller and music direction by Porchlight Artistic Associate Linda Madonia at Porchlght's new home, the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street. Sonia Friedman Productions' UK premiere of Dreamgirls, which opened last December at the Savoy Theatre is currently running through 2nd June 2018 in the West End. From 20th November 2017, Moya Angela will join Marisha Wallace and Karen Mav to play the iconic role of Effie White in Dreamgirls. In the video below, go backstage with the show's new Effies!

Sonia Friedman Productions has just announced that the UK premiere of Dreamgirls, which opened last December at the Savoy Theatre to widespread critical acclaim, will extend booking through to 2nd June 2018.

This is the world premiere of HEARTBREAK HOTEL, prequel to Million Dollar Quartet, playing at Olgunquit Playhouse. The show runs until September 30, and the critics are weighing in!

Florida Theatrical Association's production of the brand new musical parody JOYCE JACKSON'S GUIDE TO DATING resumes performances on Thursday, August 10th at The Abbey in downtown Orlando and concludes its run on Monday August, 14th with an industry night.
