BREAKING: LEGALLY BLONDE To Close At Savoy, April 7

After almost 1000 West End manicures, perms and make-overs, Legally Blonde The Musical will have its final performance at the Savoy Theatre on Saturday 7 April 2012, when principal contracts end. The production now in its third year has transformed the Savoy Theatre into a pink haven for Elle and her sorority girlfriends. Legally Blonde The Musical opened in December 2009 to rave reviews and the show went on to win seven theatre awards including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical. Legally Blonde The Musical continues its tour of the UK and plans are in place for an Australian production to open in Sydney later this year.

Today, 05 December 2011, Legally Blonde The Musical celebrates its second birthday at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End. The Olivier Award winning show has a cast led by Carley Stenson (Elle Woods), Stephen Ashfield (Emmett), Ben Freeman (Warner), Natalie Casey (Paulette) and Peter Davison (Professor Callahan).

From 10 October 2011 Stephen Ashfield (Emmett) and Ben Freeman (Warner), will be joining Carley Stenson (Elle Woods), Natalie Casey (Paulette) and Peter Davison (Professor Callahan) in the Olivier Award winning show Legally Blonde The Musical, which is currently booking until 27 October 2012 at the Savoy Theatre.

Dress Circle were delighted to welcome our very special guests Lance Horne, Lucy May Barker, Leanne Jones ( original West End Tracy from Hairspray ) Tracy , Annalene Beechey & Ross Hunter to the Dress Circle store for our American Writers event. Fans were treated to a very special performance by our guests, and then an exclusive CD signing. A fantastic day was had by all, and everyone went away happy! That's right. This inimical Broadway personality is celebrating her 90th birthday these days!
