In the summer of 2011 Emma, Hayley, Karen and MarieAnn - four remarkable young ladies with a sincere concern for the welfare of children and a genuine love of musical theatre - came up with the inspired idea of organazing and producing a concert performed by West End musical theatre stars to raise vital money for the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital to keep both the treatment of sick children and the research of pioneering treatments funded and supported.

On Sunday July 31 last year their hard work resulted in the first Giggin4Good concert at St. Paul’s Church, Covent Garden - a concert packed with a stellar West End cast which delighted its audience and raised the formidable sum of £2,000 for its worthy cause.

Following the huge success of the first Giggin4Good showcase, a follow-up charity concert, which will once again raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, will take place at St. Paul's Church, Covent Garden on Sunday February 5, 2012. And, with the array of talent it will have on show, it promises to be an even greater success than the first.

The cast of established West End stars and emerging talent will include:

George Ure, Lincoln Stone, Joseph Connor, Alistair Frederick, Rosa O'Reilly, Shaun McCourt, Liam Tamne, Alexia Khadime, David Brewis, Annabel Lloyd, Sabrina Aloueche, Ross Hunter, Rebecca Caine, Victoria Hamilton Barritt, Hannah Levane, Twinnie Lee Moore, Max Milner, Matthew Croke, JoNathan Williams, Laura Selwood, Kelly-Anne Gower, Sarah Lark, Gareth Richards, Kit Orton and Joe Sterling.

The programme will feature songs from a wide spectrum of musicals, including Wicked, Rock of Ages, Rent, Follies, Love Never Dies and Carousel. One of the innovative highlights of the concert will be its premiere presentation of highlights from two brand new musicals. The audience will get the chance to hear two songs penned by young songwriter Joe Sterling from the upcoming musical Roundabout (which will feature in the album Somewhere In My Mind - The Songs Of Joe Sterling due for release in March 2012). And there will be a short showcase of songs from My Land's Shore (by Christopher J. Orton and RoBert Gould) - an epic musical set amidst the infamous Merthyr Rising of 1831, the studio cast recording of which will be released on February 6, 2012 by SimG Records with a cast led by the highly regarded former Jean Valjean, JoNathan Williams.

With this cast of vocalists performing such an excellent programme of songs old and new, the Giggin4Good concert would appear to have all the necessary ingredients to provide its audience with a veritable musical feast.
