Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, will extend THE SOUND OF MUSIC, the Tony Award and Academy Award-winning musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, through January 8, 2012 due to popular demand.

The Jeff Awards today announced 185 nominations in 35 categories for Chicago Equity theatrical productions which opened between August 1, 2010, and July 31, 2011.

American Theater Company (ATC) announces new performance dates for its smash-hit production of the revised, restored and R-rated The Original Grease, written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey and directed by PJ Paparelli with musical direction by Roberta Duchak and choreography by Jim Corti.
