The producers of THE BOOK OF MORMON and The Nederlander Organization announced today five additional weeks of performances have been added to the originally announced return engagement. The show will begin performances January 21 at Hollywood Pantages Theatre and play through March 16, 2014.

If ever a show has become part of the 'fabric' of New York and pop culture, it is the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q -- with its colorful cast of humans and puppets. Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), the global leader in music rights management, has announced that the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop is now accepting applications for its first year composer/lyricist class. The August 1, 2013, deadline is quickly approaching and applicants are asked to send in the requested materials as soon as possible. The Workshop begins September 23, 2013, and runs through June 2014. A recipient of the Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre Award, the Lehman Engel Musical Workshop consists of approximately 250 composers, lyricists and book writers who are actively writing new works for the musical theatre.

As the Furries leave Pittsburgh, another group of fuzzy characters have arrived from NYC and taken up residence in Carnegie. They are the cast members of Avenue Q, music and lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marks ; book by Jeff Whitty, presented this month by STAGE 62.

AVENUE Q is quite honestly Sesame Street for adults. Josh Gad, Santino Fontana and Alan Tudyk have joined the voice cast of Disney Animation Studios upcoming film FROZEN.

Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) has tapped a trio of talented actors to join the voice cast in 'Frozen.' Josh Gad ('The Internship,' 'Love & Other Drugs,' Broadway's 'The Book of Mormon') provides the voice of Olaf the snowman; Santino Fontana (Broadway's 'Cinderella,' 'Brighton Beach Memoirs,' 'Billy Elliot') lends his vocal talents as Hans; and Alan Tudyk ('42,' 'Wreck-It Ralph,' ABC's 'Suburgatory') joins the film as the voice of the Duke of Weselton.
