Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. for the Des Moines premiere engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, July 7-25, 2010.

Toronto's Jersey Boys announced today that the production will extend through to May 23, 2010. In addition, the cast and crew are participating in fundraising efforts with 'Raising the Roof' and are helping give back to the community this winter.

JERSEY BOYS, the award-winning Broadway musical which opened in London's West End at the Prince Edward Theatre on March 18, 2008, will start Sunday performances on January 17th, with curtain up at 3:00pm. The correct performance schedule at the Prince Edward Theatre is now Tuesdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm, with Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. After opening to rave reviews, adding additional performance weeks and setting four new box office records, JERSEY BOYS became a resident production on February 27, 2008. The final performance on January 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. will be the Chicago Company's 951st. The final block of tickets for performances from November 24, 2009 - January 10, 2010 will go on sale on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m.

The cast of the Australian production of JERSEY BOYS will perform a special medley of their show at the Men's Final of the Australian Open on January 31.

Zaks will be billed as the show's 'Creative Consultant' with Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch still listed as directors and production designers, but it's been made clear that Jerry Zaks is the new man in charge. He tells the Times that he is looking forward to 'taking this original musical to the next level.' As a result of taking this job, Zaks will no longer direct All About Me, which stars Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein.

The Detroit engagement of JERSEY BOYS set a new box office record at the Fisher Theatre for the week ending Sunday, December 27. The show grossed $1,251,618.00, breaking the previous record of $1,225,511 held by Spamalot in December 2006.
