The new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will begin previews Friday, November 13 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 West Randolph Street) in Chicago, prior to its world premiere Wednesday, December 9.

Acclaimed photographer Mark Seliger, who has shot more than 100 Rolling Stone covers and multiple Vanity Fair covers, shot the first ever 'family' portrait of THE ADDAMS FAMILY on October 1 for Vanity Fair. Beginning Friday, November 13, the producers of THE ADDAMS FAMILY will offer twelve (12) student tickets per performance for $25. Student tickets for the pre-Broadway world premiere of THE ADDAMS FAMILY will be available on the day of the show only, beginning at 10:00 am, and will be sold only at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre Box Office (24 W. Randolph St.). Limit of two tickets per customer presenting a valid student ID. Student tickets are in partial view box seat locations and are available for all performances except Wednesday, December 9, 2009.

Today, November 6, is one of celebration for JERSEY BOYS everywhere. Roger Rees, a 22-year veteran of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), will return to the stage with WHAT YOU WILL, a side-splitting one-man-show that combines the Bard's greatest soliloquies with colorful observations about the acting life and offbeat (and occasionally bawdy) tales of theatrical disaster.

Tommy Tune, the nine-time Tony Award-winning performer and choreographer will be honored as a 'Living Landmark' along with five other individuals in November by the New York Landmarks Conservancy.

Following the curtain call, the Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS honored Mayor Daley and the City of Chicago with a performance of a special Four Seasons-style arrangement of 'My Kind of Town.'

More than 80 mayors were on hand for a special reception co-hosted by Mayor Richard M. Daley (City of Chicago) and Jeffery T. Sherwin (City of Northlake and Chair, Metropolitan Mayors Caucus). They were able to have a special meet and greet with the Chicago's Four Seasons (Michael Cunio as Tommy DeVito, Michael Ingersoll as Nick Massi, Dominic Scaglione Jr. as Frankie Valli and Shonn Wiley as Bob Gaudio).

The National Touring company of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will offer a special performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Wednesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. at the National Theatre. Proceeds from all ticket purchases will benefit The Actors Fund, which supports thousands of performing arts and entertainment professionals in need each year around the country.

In a special event celebration, Chicago Mayors Richard M. Daley (City of Chicago) and Jeffery T.
