Backstage @ 54 continues this Sunday, July 22, with hostess Ann Harada and special guest, Drama Desk Award-winner Santino Fontana.

THE RAILROAD PLAYHOUSE (RRP) presents the Box Car Play Series presentation of Tom Briscoe's ...SO I GOT FIRED FROM THAT JOB!!!, directed by Seth Soloway. I Got Fired will perform one night only at the Railroad Playhouse (27 South Water Street, Newburgh, NY).). Performances are Saturday August 11th at 8:00pm and 10:00pm. Tickets are $20 advance ($25 at door) at www.rrplayhouse.org.

Tony Award winner Ben Vereen brings his hit show, "Steppin' Out with Ben Vereen," to 54 Below, through July 21. A high energy tribute to the music of Broadway, along with musical selections made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr., audiences can expect to hear classics such as 'Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries', 'Mr. Bojangles' and even 'Defying Gravity'. Coming up are Ben Vereen, Bucky Pizzarelli, Maury Yeston, MX Justin Vivian Bond, Joe Iconis, Jamie Deroy, Rebecca Luker, Annie Golden, Mara Davi and more.

Marilyn Sokol, currently featured in the off-Broadway hit OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES will be interviewed on Sirius XM Radio's, 'Seth's Big Fat Broadway,' hosted by Seth Rudetsky, this Sunday July 8 at 5 PM ET, with multiple replays throughout the following week.

For two performances only tonight, July 6 and tomorrow night, July 7 at 8PM, 54 Below will present Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker in an evening of Jerome Kern music. 'Rebecca Luker Sing Jerome Kern' is the perfect marriage of one Broadway's most glorious voices with one of Broadway's greatest composers. Luker covers 30 years of songs including 'Can't Help Lovin' That Man,' 'The Folks Who Live on the Hill,' 'The Song is You,' 'BIll' and many others.

The Old Vic Tunnels, the sister theater company to The Old Vic, whose Artistic Director is Kevin Spacey, has expressed interest in staging the new musical DAMASCUS SQUARE during its 2012 calendar.

Next week, for two performances only on July 6 and 7 at 8PM, 54 Below will present Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker in an evening of Jerome Kern music.

'New Mondays' at 54 BELOW continues tonight, Monday, June 25 at 7 p.m. with brand new tunes from Amanda Green (High Fidelity, Bring It On), Jeff Blumenkrantz (Urban Cowboy), Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy, Legally Blonde), and the vocal talents of Tom Compton, Michelle Duffy, Rachel Flynn, Ann Harada, Julia Murney, Kevin Pariseau, Alysha Umphress and Michael Winther.

According to the 54 BELOW website, Patti LuPone, who had previously extended her run at the nightclub to take over for Andrea Martin, has now canceled the rest of the engagement due to illness.
