According to the 54 BELOW website, Patti LuPone, who had previously extended her run at the nightclub to take over for Andrea Martin, has now canceled the rest of the engagement due to illness.

The website states: "Patti LuPone is ill and unable to perform at 54 Below for the remainder of her engagement tonight and tomorrow [June 22-23]. Guests who have already purchased tickets will be automatically refunded. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. 54 Below will reopen on Sunday for Backstage at 5 PM."

Her show FAR AWAY PLACES was scheduled to play through Saturday, June 23, after the owners of 54 BELOW announced that Andrea Martin had to postpone her appearance at 54 BELOW because she was ill with a bronchial infection.

LuPone’s 54 BELOW engagement, “Far Away Places,” was conceived and directed by 54 BELOW’s Tony Award-winning creative consultant, Scott Wittman, with arrangements by Joseph Thalken.

54 BELOW, Broadway’s nightclub is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife.
