54 Below will welcome Broadway's own Michael Cerveris for two very special performances only on November 2-3, featuring him and his band, the magnificent Loose Cattle. Broadway was introduced to Michael in The Who's Tommy. Since then, audiences have embraced him in leading roles in Titanic, Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Lovemusik and, among others, his current Tony-winning performance as Juan Peron in Evita. THE RAILROAD PLAYHOUSE (RRP) has announced the world premiere production of RRP Playwright-in-Residence, Alex Goldberg's AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST STAR, directed by RRP Artistic Director, Seth Soloway. AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST STAR will play a limited engagement at the Railroad Playhouse (27 South Water Street, Newburgh, NY). Performances begin tonight, October 19 and continue through Saturday, November 3.

54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, will host Halloween and Election nights this year. Full details below!

FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at The Fox Theatre from February 5-10 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2012/2013 season. Broadway Records and 54 BELOW announced today that they have joined in partnership to create a series of albums recorded live at the brand new venue, 54 BELOW, located just steps away from the heart of Times Square. The album series will kick off with Patti LuPone and Andrea McArdle's recordings to be released on December 11th, 2012 and Norbert Leo Butz's recording due on January 15th, 2013. Patti LuPone's album will be produced by six-time Grammy nominee, Robert Sher, who previously worked with Patti on the Gypsy 2008 Broadway Cast Recording. The Andrea McArdle and Norbert Leo Butz albums will be produced by Aaron Ankrum, who worked with Broadway Records on Laura Osnes' "Dream A Little Dream" album. All three albums will be executive produced by Van Dean and Kenny Howard, of The Broadway Consortium, and Ken Mahoney.

54 Below, has announced that Tony Award winner Andrea Martin will play a three-night engagement of her show "Andrea Martin: Laughing Matters" at 54 Below tonight, October 9 and October 10 and 11 at 7PM. (Originally scheduled to appear at the venue last June, Martin was forced to postpone her engagement due to a bronchial infection.) Seth Rudetsky (Sirius XM Satellite Radio, The Ritz) will join Andrea at the piano.

Marilyn Sokol, currently featured in OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES, will be a guest on WBAI Radio (99.5 FM) tomorrow, Saturday October 6 in the 9 AM hour. The Emmy Award winner will chat with host David Rothenberg about the off Broadway hit, and about her career, which includes such highlights as flashing the audience on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (by mistake), being both a voice and puppeteer on Sesame Street, and having her Dial-A-Jokes on record at The Smithsonian Institute.

Hamish Jenkinson, The Old Vic Tunnels' Artistic Director and Douglas Mclannet, its Administrative Director, flew in from London to attend the Sept. 6th premiere of "Damascus Square" at the United Nations. In front of a VIP crowd of Ambassadors, producer Richard Frankel, Ira and Inge Rennert, among others, Hamish took the stage post performance and said that the Old Vic Tunnels is committed to staging "Damascus Square" in the coming season.

Through 15, Jason Robert Brown is bringing his show to NYC's newest theatrical hot spot, 54 Below, Broadway's Nightclub, for seven performances. To celebrate his first time at the new club, he's bringing Shoshana Bean, and featuring music from Honeymoon In Vegas and The Bridges of Madison County as well as his forthcoming solo album (in addition to the usual favorites).
