The critically acclaimed Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble continues its commitment to producing new and daring plays with the world premiere of A Giant Arc in the Skyspace of Directions at the Powerhouse Theatre. Written by award-winning playwright Michael Vukadinovich, the show boasts a talented creative team led by multi-faceted director Efrain Schunior.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced that tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9, for BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, the critically acclaimed rock musical that played a sold-out run last spring as part of the Public's Public LAB season.

South Coast Repertory will present The Brand New Kid, a musical lesson in tolerance and acceptance, adapted from Emmy Award-winning author Katie Couric's book, as part of its Theatre for Young Audience (TYA) series. Directed by Shelley Butler, with book by Melanie Marnich, music by Michael Friedman and lyrics by both, The Brand New Kid will run May 29 through June 14 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Low-priced previews are available May 29 - June 5. Opening day is June 6. Press performance is May 31 at 2:00 p.m. All children who attend the 11:00 a.m. Target Family Performance on Saturday, June 6 will receive a free gift. A Play on Words began previews on Wednesday, May 13 for a limited engagement through Saturday, May 30.
