Chamber Music Palisades Announces 2010-11 Season

Chamber Music Palisades (CMP) - the noted Pacific Palisades-based music series described as a "soaring crowd-pleaser," "a transcendent musical experience," "exquisite and breathtaking," and "music of the highest order" - presents nearly two dozen leading musicians in a compelling four-concert series during its 14th season at St. Matthews Parish in Pacific Palisades, with programs October 19, 2010, February 1, 2011, March 29, 2011, and May 3, 2011.
Arena Stage Announces More Shows For 2011 Season

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces the award-winning New York theater troupe Tectonic Theater Project will join the 2010-2011 season with its national tour of The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later. Five performances will be presented in the Kreeger Theater November 19-21, 2010 and will feature many of the original cast members from The Laramie Project.

TIME STANDS STILL, which yesterday received a Tony nomination for Best Play, will transfer this fall to Broadway to a Shubert theatre to be announced. The play, by Pulitzer Prize Winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, will star acclaimed original cast members: Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James, and Eric Bogosian.

TIME STANDS STILL, the acclaimed play by Donald Margulies (Collected Stories), must end its twice extended engagement at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) Saturday, March 27 following the 8 PM performance. On that date, the production will have played 27 preview performances and 68 regular performances.
