Anticipation for the revived and revised version Frank Wildhorn's acclaimed musical JEKYLL & HYDE is building in Houston, TX. The tour opened in La Mirada, California on September 7, 2012 and will be make a whirlwind stop in San Diego, California before coming home to Houston in October. To give me the inside scoop on this new Broadway-bound production, Constantine Maroulis, starring in the titular dual roles, chatted with me from La Mirada.

Following the 80th Anniversary Season's record-breaking attendance, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces the 2013 Festival schedule today. Jacob's Pillow is a National Historic Landmark, home to America's longest-running dance festival, and a recipient of the National Medal of Arts.

Olivier Award-winner Kathryn Hunter returns to the Arcola Theatre in Leyla Nazli's evocative new play, The Mare Rider. The production runs Tuesday 22 January - Saturday 16 February 2013, with press night slated for Friday 25 January at 7.30PM.

With The Suit, theater director Peter Brook-whose 1987 production of The Mahabharata inaugurated the BAM Majestic Theater (now the BAM Harvey Theater)-returns to BAM with Theatre des Bouffes du Nord to showcase his signature approach of innovative stage design and the integration of live music. Written by Can Themba, The Suit was adapted for the stage by Mothobi Mutloatse, and Barney Simon.

The Finborough Theatre has just been announced the winner of the Peter Brook Empty Space Award for the second time.

Jermyn Street Theatre presents the UK premiere of the vintage off Broadway musical Boy Meets Boy. The line up comprises Stephen Ashfield, Craig Fletcher, Johnjo Flynn, Ben Kavanagh, Anna Nicholas and Benjamin Bailey, Carly Mackelvie, Gregory Sims, Biancha Szynal, Helen Turner, Jay Webb and ARon Wild.

For Spring 2013 the Ustinov Studio presents an American Season, its anticipated fourth season of new commissions and UK premieres, running from Thursday 7th March - Saturday 15th June 2013. Previous seasons have been critically acclaimed, with In the Next Room winning Best New Play at the Theatre Awards UK 2012 and the adventurous policy of the Ustinov, for its serious and innovative undertaking of producing new plays by important writers, recognised by a nomination for the 2012 Empty Space…Peter Brook Award.

After a successful run at The Flea, the theater has announced the extension of the U.S. Premiere of I HATE F*CKING MEXICANS by Luis Enrique Gutierrez Ortiz Monasterio "the enfant terrible of contemporary Mexican theater." Translated by Debbie Saivetz, Ana Graham, and Danya Taymor and directed by Ms. Taymor, a Flea Resident Director; the production features members of The Bats and The Riot Group's Adriano Shapman. Previews began October 9, with opening night on October 18. The show is now extended with limited performances through December 11.

In March 2012, German director-composer Heiner Goebbels was awarded the prestigious International Ibsen Award for his "genuinely groundbreaking" work. Previous winners include directors Peter Brook and Ariane Mnouchkine. This November, Lincoln Center's White Light Festival presents the celebrated director's staged concert in three tableaus, I went to the house but did not enter, set to texts by T.S. Eliot (The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock), Samuel Beckett (Worstward Ho), Maurice Blanchot (The Madness of the Day), and Franz Kafka ("Excursion into the Mountains"), that unfold as meditations on aging, mortality and the vicissitudes of modern life.

Lincoln Center Theater welcomes Genevieve Angelson, Shalita Grant, Billy Magnussen, Kristine Nielsen, David Hyde Pierce and Sigourney Weaver in the New York premiere of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a new play by Christopher Durang, to be directed by Nicholas Martin, which began performances Thursday, October 25 and opens tonight, November 12 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

At Jermyn Street Theatre, the smallest theatre in the heart of the West End, three giants of the British stage came together as Trevor Nunn directed Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon in All That Fall, a radio play by Samuel Beckett. The work, which had never been seen in London before, continued and extended this small and intimate theatre's burgeoning reputation for attracting the very best talent in British theatre in order to rediscover and stage lesser-known works by major writers. Jermyn Street's production of ALL THAT FALL closes tonight, 3rd November.

Strong acting and equally impressive presentation elements make this production one that I'd recommend for the discerning theatregoer.

The Country Playhouse will pre­sent Murdering Marlowe by Charles Marowitz, in its Black Box venue for three weekends only, November 2 - 17. Performances are todays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, with a Sunday matinee on November 11 at 2:00 pm, plus a week­night show on Thursday, November 15, at 7:30 pm.
