DC Jazz Festival (DCJF), with the only city-wide jazz festival in the mid-Atlantic region, today announced a veritable cornucopia of free concerts including an incredible international roster of jazz artists from five continents, slated to perform at indoor and outdoor venues across DC at the DC JazzFest presented by Events DC (DC JazzFest). The free programming offers a wonderful complement to the scintillating lineup of ticketed signature events, enhancing the overall festival experience.

DC Jazz Festival (DCJF), with the only city-wide jazz festival in the mid-Atlantic region, today announced that Nick Cannon will host Great Masters of Jazz, on June 16 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Co-presented by the DC Jazz Festival and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, with support from Events DC, Great Masters of Jazz will celebrate the life and work of the legend Quincy Jones; the trailblazing trumpeter-bandleader Roy Hargrove; the highly influential song stylist Nancy Wilson; and DC's own peerless pianist-vocalist Shirley Horn and saxophonist-educator Fred Foss. Featured performers and presenters include the Roy Hargrove Big Band, Patti Austin, Kenny Garrett, Justin Kauflin, Adam Clayton Powell III, Angela Stribling, Paxton Baker, Sharón Clark, Princess Mhoon Dance Project, and very special guests.

Birdland will kick-off their great week of programming with Frank Catalano Quartet, Emmet Cohen Trio, Julie Budd, and more!

 Concord Jazz and Live Nation are proud to present the 50th Anniversary Concord Jazz Festival, to be held on Saturday, August 3rd at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California. 2019 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the festival, which began at a city park in 1969 and gave birth to the venerable Concord Jazz label. Concord Jazz continues its commitment to presenting the finest jazz and live music with this year's line-up.

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup for the 2019-2020 season, continuing to present the finest world-class artists and entertainers for Coachella Valley audiences.  The new season includes McCallum debuts, returning favorites, iconic superstars, family-friendly entertainment and holiday cheer, among so much more. A CHRISTMAS STORY, WAITRESS and THE PLAY THAT GOES WORING are among the many Broadway offerings in what looks to be the most stellar season in McCallum history.

The weekend started with Marilyn Maye and The Kravis Center Pops Orchestra Big Band conducted by Tedd Firth in a memorable concert by one of the most beloved singers of our generation. Marilyn Maye, arguably one of the finest vocalists ever to sing in a night club, concert hall, TV Studio or on a Broadway stage gave The Kravis Center Audience an evening of her artistry that will stay in their musical memory forever.

BET Networks is set to premiere 'Q85: A Musical Celebration for Quincy Jones,' a star-studded evening that celebrates the life and legacy of the icon. The special was taped in September at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, and will premiere on BET Networks on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 8:00PM ET.

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces the return of multi-Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Christopher Cross, Twenty Feet from Stardom's Ms. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton, award-winning Celtic quarter We Banjo 3, and more. Grammy Award-winner and two-time Emmy nominee Steve Tyrell has remastered his classic Back to Bacharach album and has added seven new songs. The expanded 21-track edition is by New Design Records and Warner Brother's East/West Records. The new collection is available now HERE.

Tony Award-winners Lillias White & Cady Huffman will join twin brother singer-songwriters Will & Anthony Nunziata in concert on Sat. Nov. 17 at 7pm at The Green Room 42 to celebrate the release of their new Adult Contemporary album Love Always (released 11/16).

Multitalented twin brother singer-songwriters Will & Anthony Nunziata have officially partnered with one of the nation's leading breast cancer non-profits, Susan G. Komen®. The original song “The Gift Is You” from their soon to be released album Love Alwayswill be used in upcoming campaign videos for the organization in 2018 & 2019. The song was written as a response to their mother's breast cancer diagnosis (today she is in remission) and the brothers debuted the song during two sold out shows at Carnegie Hall with the 90-piece New York Pops. The song will be available on iTunes with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen. Grammy-winning producer/songwriter Rudy Perez (Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin) wrote the Spanish version “El Regalo Eres Tu” also featured on the album.  

Garry Marshall Theatre is back with the highly anticipated marshallARTS family storytelling program Storybook Pages with the Caldecott Honor-winning children's book Extra Yarn written by Mac Barnett and illustrated by Jon Klassen on Saturday, October 13 at 11am.
