Patricia Arquette has won the Academy Award as Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in BOYHOOD.

Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that produces the Spirit Awards, Los Angeles Film Festival and Film Independent at LACMA, handed out top honors to Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Boyhood, Whiplash and Nightcrawler at this afternoon's 30th Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The star-studded 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards with Presenting Sponsor LACOSTE will take place tonight, February 17, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) tonight announced the winners of the 2015 Writers Guild Awards for outstanding achievement in writing for film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation categories at simultaneous ceremonies at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles and the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

Patricia Arquette stopped by this morning's GOOD MORNING AMERICA on ABC to talk about her motherly role in the hit film BOYHOOD, which was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Supporting Actress.

Balloting for this year's Actor® recipients will close tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23, at Noon (PT). Final voting information was mailed to 111,228 eligible SAG-AFTRA members on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014. Votes must be cast online or previously requested paper ballots returned by Jan. 23 to Integrity Voting Systems, the SAG Awards' official teller. The results will be tallied and sealed until the envelopes are opened onstage by the presenters at the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® ceremony on Sunday, Jan 25.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) has selected its presenters for the 30th Annual Artios Awards, taking place in Los Angeles and New York City today, January 22, 2015 during the height of awards season. The Los Angeles ceremony will be hosted by Patton Oswalt and will be located at The Beverly Hilton. The New York City ceremony will be hosted by Michael Urie and will be located at 42WEST (formerly XL Nightclub) Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street).
