On Monday, September 22, 2014, The Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 recipients at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center, 17 Lexington Avenue. The Flea Theater has announced the addition of two key members to the small but mighty Flea team. Joshua Cohen comes to The Flea following seven years at Roundabout Theatre Company, where he rose to the position of Manager for Financial Reporting.

More than 130 one-person shows will participate in this year's annual United Solo, the world's largest festival of solo theatre. The event will take place between September 18 and November 23 at New York City's Theatre Row on 42nd Street, where United Solo is a resident company. The Festival has grown five times since its inaugural run in 2010; it began as a two-week-long event and will span over ten weeks this year.

The fourth annual United Solo Theatre Festival concluded its run on November 24, 2013 at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in New York City. An awards ceremony was held that night, following the eight-week-long lineup of the world's largest solo theatre festival, which offered more than 120 productions this season.

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, concluded its third annual season with a closing ceremony held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in New York City. Local and international performers, special guests, and festival team members gathered to celebrate the one hundred solo productions that were offered this fall.

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, doubled in size in the past three years. During the upcoming six?week run between October 11 and November 18, a variety of one hundred solo shows will perform at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in New York. Performers come from all over the world, bringing stories in which they explore global and local issues, address universal dilemmas, and adapt classical literature in shows like "Medea's Got Some Issues," "The Picture of Dorian Gray," and "Vonnegut, Vonnegut."

Established in New York City, United Solo presents a collection of solo plays available in a digital library, Indie Theater Now.

This year again, United Solo Theatre Festival offered its support to The Actors Fund, an organization that helps entertainment professionals who are in need, crisis or transition. Before and after each show at the Festival the audience members were invited to join our fundraising. Both the generosity of our patrons and the involvement of the solo artists made the contribution to The Actors Fund possible.
