The Judy Show - My Life As A Sitcom, the new comedy starring Judy Gold, will extend its previously announced limited engagement at Off-Broadway's DR 2 Theatre (103 E 15th Street).

On Thursday, July 28, actors Richard Gere, Annabella Sciorra, and Carey Lowell attended Off-Broadway's MANIPULATION, a new play by Victoria E. Calderon at the Cherry Lane Theatre, directed by Will Pomerantz. After the performance, they visited with Manipulation cast members Marina Squerciati and Saundra Santiago.

MANIPULATION, a world-premiere play by Victoria E. Calderon about one woman's struggle for freedom and self-discovery, opened last week at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) in Manhattan. According to published reports, 'The Perfect Host,' starring stage and screen star David Hyde Pierce, is set for a theatrical release on July 1, 2011. The film, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, also stars Clayne Crawford, Nathaniel Parker, Helen Reddy, Megahn Perry and Joseph Will.

Yesterday, May 10, legendary actress Mia Farrow was honored with the 2011 Marian Anderson Award at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.
