Town Hall Presents THE AWARD-WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY on 7/12

The Town Hall presents the Fourth Annual Summer Broadway Festival created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8PM are BROADWAY WINNERS: THE AWARD-WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY! on July 12th, BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on July 19th, and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 26th. The evenings will feature music and dance coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest. Tickets for BROADWAY WINNERS and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' are $50 and $40. Tickets for BROADWAY'S RISING STARS are $30 and $25. All tickets are on sale through TicketMaster (800-982-2787 or www.ticketmaster.com) or The Town Hall Box Office (123 West 43 Street) between noon and 6PM (except Sundays) at 212-840-2824.

On Tuesday evening, July 6th and running through Saturday evening, July 10th , Week Two jumps off with the New Orleans Moonshiners on July 6th, giving their very first show outside of Louisiana and playing swing straight from the Crescent City.

Nearly 7,000 fans attended 2009's Istanbulive at SummerStage, making it one of the top-attended Central Park shows of the year. How best to improve on that success? According to event producers Serdar Ilhan and Mehmet Dede, by gearing the festival more toward the casual listener. Ilhan says, 'The first Istanbulive featured artists that were instantly recognizable to their indigenous audience: MFÖ, Painted on Water with Sertab Erener and Demir Demirkan and Husnu Senlendirici.

According to a report from the New York Times, this year's Montreux Jazz Festival will include performances from Phil Collins, Diana Krall, and Jessye Norman. The annual festival will take place from July 2 through July 17.

Radio Happy Hour is back on Saturdays on July 17. This episode will feature David Dondero as a struggling restaurateur and William Ocean as the celebrity chef who will save the restaurant, until his rival chef turns up dead in the kitchen. The episode will also feature an appearance from comedians John & Molly Knefel, who will be hosting the audience quiz. Other comedians and musicians are lined up to make some surprise appearances throughout the show and in the radioplay and will be announced throughout the next couple weeks.

Tickets are on sale now for Lincoln Center's 22nd season of Midsummer Night Swing which will take place every Tuesday through Saturday, June 29-July 17 (except July 13, which will be replaced with a night of dancing on Monday, July 12th). The program will take place in Swing's home, Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park, on West 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.

'Radio Happy Hour' to Feature Islands and Eddie Kaye Thomas, 6/15

'Radio Happy Hour' moves to a new taping time at night on Tuesday June 15th. The new episode will feature Nick Thorburn (aka Nick Diamonds) from Islands (Islands will also be performing a few songs) as well as actor Eddie Kaye Thomas (from HBO's 'How To Make It In America').
