Actress Emily Bergl opens the fall season of the Oak Room at the historic Algonquin Hotel with her cabaret, 'Kidding on the Square.' She will be accompanied by Jonathan Mastro, composer and musical director of the hit revival of 'Our Town,' directed by David Cromer. Ms. Bergl starred as Beth Young on ABC's 'Desperate Housewives,' and currently plays Tammi Bryant on TNT's 'Southland.' She most recently appeared on the New York stage in Nora Ephron's 'Love, Loss and What I Wore,' and in Second Stage's 'Becky Shaw,' and has starred in several Broadway productions. Rehearsals for the Broadway- bound production of Noel Coward's PRIVATE LIVES starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross begin in London this Monday August 22. Directed by Richard Eyre, PRIVATE LIVES will play at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) with previews beginning on Sunday November 6 and opening night set for Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012. Prior to Broadway, PRIVATE LIVES will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre.

Christine Ebersole won her second Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, as well as virtually every Off-Broadway award, for her 'dual role of a lifetime' as Edith Beale and Little Edie Beale in Grey Gardens. The critically acclaimed musical was nominated for a total of ten Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the CD recording was nominated for a Grammy Award. Cape Rep Theatre to Present World Premiere of GOOD BYE MARY ROSE, 9/15-10/16

Cape Rep Theatre will continue its 26th Season on September 15 with the World Premiere of Maura Hanlon's Good Bye Mary Rose. Hanlon will also direct. Performances will continue through October 16. Performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. No performance on September 18. There will be an additional performance on Wednesday, October 5 at 7pm. Juilliard's Drama Division announces the complete schedule for its 2011-2012 season of fully-staged productions featuring students in their fourth and final year of acting training at Juilliard. This season's plays include Arthur Miller's All My Sons, directed by Harris Yulin, October 19-23; Juilliard alumnus Nathan Jackson's Broke-ology, directed by Kent Gash, November 10-14; and Noel Coward's Hay Fever, directed by Dakin Matthews, December 8-12. The Drama Division is led by James Houghton, Richard Rodgers Director of Drama.
