THE LYONS debuted last fall at the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre and now begins previews on April 5, with an official opening night set for April 23. THE LYONS comes to Broadway with its entire original cast: Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa along with Michael Esper, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell. NOW. HERE. THIS. which is currently receiving its world-premiere production at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), will extend by one-week - now through April 22 - due to popular demand and strong ticket sales, it has been announced by Artistic Director Douglas Aibel, and Co-Artistic Director Sarah Stern.

On Saturday, March 17 took to the stage with the 60-piece Wilmington Symphony Orchestra at the Kenan Auditorium in Wilmington, NC. Joining her was her band including Bucky Pizzarelli (guitar), John Brown (bass), Steve Bakunis (drums), and musical director Billy Stritch and singer Jim Caruso.

The box office for the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) -- where Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS begins its Broadway run with a cast starring Tony winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa -- opens for window sales on Thursday, March 22 starting at 10 a.m.

The Tony Award-winning actress Linda Lavin -- who returns to Broadway this spring in Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS starting April 5 at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) -- will perform two concerts this month before settling into rehearsals for THE LYONS.

Linda Lavin to perform concerts March 17 in Wilmington and March 22 in San Francisco prior to returning to Broadway in the new comedy THE LYONS.

The 2012 Actors Studio Drama School Repertory Season performances will take place at The Theater at Dance New Amsterdam, 53 Chambers St., just north of City Hall, Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m. from March 28 through April 28. Red Bull Theater are presenting Jean Genet's The Maids for a strictly limited engagement at Theater at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). Mr. Berger directs a company that features Ana Reeder, Jeanine Serralles, and J Smith-Cameron. The Maids will run 90 minutes, with no intermission. Their annual BENEFIT PERFORMANCE & PARTY was held Sunday, March 11th. Among the guests in attendance were playwrights Kenneth Lonergan and Nicky Silver, actors Michael Emerson, Matthew Rauch, and Oscar winner Estelle Parsons.
