The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) will open the first production of its third season with the musical The Story of My Life, with Music & Lyrics by Neil Bartram and Book by Brian Hill.

Theatre Philadelphia, the region's marketing and leadership organization for theatre, proudly announces the 2018 nominees for the Barrymore Award for Excellence in Theatre. Celebrating the rich, diverse professional theatre scene in the Greater Philadelphia region, the Barrymore Ceremony will be held on Monday, November 5th at 7pm at the Bok Building at 1901 S. 9th Street in South Philadelphia. FROST/NIXON, a play by Peter Morgan, directed by Sarna Lapine, will run June 26 - July 22, 2018. Chromolume Theatre will present the Neil Bartram/Brian Hill musical The Story of My Life in the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival, it was announced today. Under the direction of Michael Marchak, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Daniel Koh and Andrew Schufman. Music direction is by Richard Berent. The show will run for five performances only at the Hobgoblin Playhouse beginning June 3 at 7:30pm.

We have all experienced that constant struggle between conforming to societal norms and the desire to fully express oneself. This year at The Studio Theatre we will look closely at all the wonderful things that make us different. But I hope that what we'll find is that those differences are the very things that bind us all together as human beings. We have selected four stories that share a common theme of searching for your true individuality. These stories will delve deeply into the experiences of those who feel that who they truly are will not be accepted by society. In Season Three we are having a party, a party of differences. In 2016, Delaware Theatre Company brought the musical adaptation of the classic film DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow, to the stage. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall, the musical was years in the making, having its initial regional premiere in DC's Signature Theatre in December 2014.

Chicago Shakespeare announces today fourteen productions in the Theater's 2018/19 Season-encompassing the dynamic and diverse range of offerings which have come to characterize a company that defies theatrical category. Finally, A Connecticut Christmas Carol, a musical adaptation of the Dickens holiday classic spiced with the flavor of the Nutmeg State, returns to The Terris Theatre November 30 - December 30, 2018.
