After seven seasons, the critically acclaimed and multiple award-winning comedy series '30 Rock' is set to conclude its run on NBC. The series finale is tonight Jan. 31. Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Jenni Barber, Andrèa Burns and Cady Huffman will join Nathan Lane, Jonny Orsini and Lewis J. Stadlen in its upcoming production of THE NANCE, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane to be directed by Jack O'Brien. The production will begin previews on Thursday, March 21 and open on Monday, April 15 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45 Street).

Broadway's Nathan Lane returns to guest star in the CBS drama series THE GOOD WIFE tonight, January 27th.

On MODERN FAMILY's upcoming episode, 'A Slight at the Opera,' Cameron is putting on the school production of 'Phantom of the Opera,' but when their star falls ill, Manny pulls all the stops to land the lead -- even if that means going against Luke. Meanwhile, Jay teaches Phil to golf and they wind up in a golf-off with Pepper and Mitch; Gloria takes Alex along on errands which include a visit to a psychic; and Claire's adventures in babysitting Joe and Lily become a comedy of errors. 'A Slight at the Opera' airs Feb. 6 at 9PM on ABC.

Primary Stages continues their 28th season with the 20th anniversary revival of All in The Timing by David Ives. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown; A Christmas Story, The Musical), the production features Eric Clem (Blue Man Group), Carson Elrod (Peter and the Starcatcher), Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical), Liv Rooth (Venus in Fur), and Matthew Saldivar (Peter and the Starcatcher). All in The Timingruns through March 17 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Kicking off its drama pilot orders, FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given a pilot order to RAKE, a character-driven comedic drama by Peter Duncan (creator of the original Australian series) and executive-produced by Peter Tolan ('Rescue Me,' 'Analyze This') and Michael Wimer ('2012'). Today in 1957 Waiting for Godot opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where it ran for 6 performances. An absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, it revolves around two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, who wait endlessly and in vain for someone named Godot to arrive. Godot's absence, as well as numerous other aspects of the play, have led to many different interpretations since the play's premiere. Since its US premiere in 1956, several notable revivals have been produced, including the 1988 production featuring Robin Williams and Steve Martin, and the 2009 revival starring Nathan Lane and Bill Irwin.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, five-time Tony Award winning actress Audra McDonald will guest star on the CBS legal drama THE GOOD WIFE later this season.

The subject seems to come up at least once a year and it's now made its first 2013 appearance - will Mel Brooks bring BLAZING SADDLES to Broadway? Maybe.
