Frozen might not arrive on Broadway until 2018, but preparations for the stage musical are already beginning. According to an Equity casting notice, a developmental lab will be held this spring, with rehearsals running April 30 through May 13. Auditions commence for the roles of Anna (late teens to 20s) and Elsa (20s to early 30s) later this month. Auditions for the Denver and Broadway productions will not begin until summer 2016.

No doubt one of the greatest classic Disney films of all time, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST has launched a new NETworks tour, which reunites original Broadway director, Rob Roth, choreographer, Matt West, along with the original design team, including Ann Hould-Ward (costume designer), Natasha Katz (Lighting Designer), Stanley A. Meyer (Scenic Designer), John Petrafesa Jr. (Sound Designer) and Music Supervision by Michael Kosarin.

Tonight, March 15, Broadway's AN AMERICAN IN PARIS welcomes a new star -- Garen Scribner -- who will also be traveling with the show's upcoming national tour this fall.

SF Ballet has announced that it will return to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. with the Washington, D.C. premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's Cinderella, October 26-30. SF Ballet will present seven performances of the acclaimed, full-length production; the Company last performed at the prestigious venue in November 2012.

The brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, premieres at Atlanta's Fox Theatre this week, March 1-6, 2016, as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2015/2016 season. 

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is returning to Palm Desert. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the McCallum Theatre on Friday March 25, at 8:00pm, Saturday, March 26 at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sunday, March 27, 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Disney's Beauty and the Beast features the Academy Award®-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs composed by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. The book is written by Linda Woolverton.

Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, will welcome new principal cast members Brad Weinstock (Omar) and Major Attaway (Standby Genie/Babkak/Sultan) to the cast beginning this month, it was announced today.

It should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone that on Tuesday night, February 16, Music City officially fell in love with Motown. Berry Gordy's musical is the stuff of legend and, as it takes us from 1983 all the way back to 1938 and back again, you can't help but be impressed by the ambitious young man's rise to preeminence; his story is the American dream come true and Gordy's impact on pop culture and the very fiber of our nation's history cannot be overstated - it's a story that resonates in Nashville to be certain.
