Tod Murray Debuts New Show 'Croon' at Blame It On Midnight, 7/8

Los Angeles based singer Todd Murray debuts his new show, 'Croon' at Blame It On Midnight in Palm Springs on Thursday, July 8th prior to it's opening at Hollywood's famed Catalina on July 9th and 10th, then New York City's Feinstein's At The Regency on July 13th. A former Broadway star, Mr. Murray's last appearance in Palm Springs was at Annenberg Theatre in 2008. Since then he has been touring the country in his acclaimed show 'Stardust And Swing' which is also the title of his most recent CD. His previous CD entitled 'When I Sing Low' also won high recognition from both critics and his many fans.

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre will end its run of CANDIDA -- George Bernard Shaw's classic about a clergyman and his wife who captures the attention of a young poet -- on April 18th at the Irish Repertory Theatre in Manhattan. Tony and Oscar Award-winner Tony Walton, who helmed the Irish Repertory's acclaimed revivals of Shaw's THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE and MAJOR BARBARA, directed the run of the show.

Playwrights Horizons announced today that the New York premiere of ME, MYSELF & I, a new play by three-time Pulitzer Prize and three-time Tony Award winner Edward Albee (A Delicate Balance; Seascape; Three Tall Women; Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf?; The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?) will open the theater company's 2010/2011 40th Anniversary Season. Cameron Murray is the current artistic director for Keys Kids, as well as the drama/theatre instructor at Key West High. Daniel Bonnett is the founder of Keys Kids, and is currently teaching and performing in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Between them, they have staged over 50 shows for Keys Kids, including Peter Pan, Annie, Grease, 42nd Street, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The King and I, Bye, Bye Birdie, 101 Dalmatians and The Wizard of Oz.

Avant-Garde-Arama is Performance Space 122's biannual mini-festival of performance, dance, music, film, installations and general mayhem. A.G.A brings together emerging and established artists in all disciplines to show off their newest stuff in 8 minutes or less. It was P.S. 122's first programmed event and has been going strong for 25 years. This April the theme is 'Family Values' and will be hosted by downtown it-boy of the moment MR. MURRAY HILL.
