Geva Theatre Center announces that Robert Vaughn, star of stage and screen, will play the role of Martin Vanderhof in the opening production of its 40th Anniversary Season, the Pulitzer Prize winning play, You Can't Take It With You by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, in the Wilson Mainstage September 11 - October 7.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) Producing Director Jed Bernstein has announced he will be leading a special Thursday matinee talkback series featuring a selection of cast members, to follow 4:00 p.m. performances of Barefoot in the Park on Thursdays, August 16th , August 23rd and August 30th. Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced its much anticipated 2012 holiday production, the third show of this inaugural season. It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry will run from Thursday, December 13th through Sunday, December 30th at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street).

Barely looking, and certainly not sounding, much older than she was over thirty years ago, when her clarion vocals and chipper charm earned her a Tony nomination for playing an unexpectedly pregnant college student in Baby, you might be surprised to know that the weekend before her Monday night concert at Town Hall, Liz Callaway was in Pittsburgh playing the final four performances of a stint as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced the addition of My Brilliant Divorce to its 2012-2013 lineup. The one-woman comedy by Geraldine Aron will have its regional premiere at Asolo Rep from June 26-July 14 with preview performances June 23 & 25. My Brilliant Divorce will be directed by Asolo Rep Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards.

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center presents As Thousands Cheer, a Moss Hart/Irving Berlin collaboration, designed and performed by the students of the FAC's Youth Rep program. Performances dates are Aug. 2-5.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) will present their July Cabaret Series and "Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music" this weekend. Broadway and television actor Jason Kravits (Relatively Speaking, "The Practice") will host "Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music", a little over one week after what would have been Oscar Hammerstein II's 117th birthday, tonight, July 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street). The presentation will be preceded by a special outdoor BBQ Style dinner hosted by Hamilton's Grill Room beginning at 5:00 p.m.

According to its website, the Vineyard Arts Project just held two 'in-progress' readings on July 18 and 20 of Moss Hart's Act One, adapted for the stage by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and director James Lapine and commissioned by the Lincoln Center Theater. The readings starred Tony Shalhoub ('Monk', Lend Me a Tenor), Debra Monk (Steel Pier, Redwood Curtain), Chuck Cooper (The Life, Caroline, or Change) and David Turner (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever).

James Lapine has reportedly been commissioned for a stage adaptation of Moss Hart's landmark autobiography, ACT ONE, by Lincoln Center Theatre's artistic director Andre Bishop.
