The Joyce Theater is thrilled to welcome back the brilliant and hilarious Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo for its biannual three-week NYC holiday engagement, December 18, 2012 - January 6, 2013. The season will feature two different programs, including the highly anticipated U.S. premiere of Laurencia, choreographed in 1939 by Vakhtang Chabukiani for the Kirov Ballet. Tickets are $10*-$59 and can be arranged by calling JoyceCharge at 212-242-0800 or online at www.joyce.org. Please note: ticket prices are subject to change. (*$10 tickets have been made available by generous support from the MetLife Foundation.) The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue at 19th Street, in Chelsea.

Oyster Mill Playhouse is pleased to announce its seventh production and second musical of the 2012 season, LUCKY STIFF, the first collaboration for the team of Lynn Ahrens (book and lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music), and its final show of its 2012 season, the comedy MY THREE ANGELS by Samuel Spewack and Bella Spewack and based on LA CUISINE DES ANGES by Albert Husson.

Featuring a concert version of King's Bessie-nominated piece Astral Epitaphs that was commissioned by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company for its final shows at the Park Avenue Armory in Dec. 2011, the music of New York composer John King (www.johnkingmusic.com) will be presented at Brooklyn's Roulette on Friday, December 7 at 8pm.

First performed by the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo on October 16, 1942 at the Metropolitan Opera House, de Mille's groundbreaking Western ballet features a unique combination of ballet and Broadway-style dancing set to Aaron Copland's famous score.
