'Once Upon A Time In New York City'- a concert series featuring a slate of brand new songs about the Big Apple, made its 54 Below debut earlier this week. The concert featured performances from Micah Burgess, Nick Cearley, Amanda Flynn, Amanda Green, Lewis Grosso, Molly Hager, Jeremy Jordan, Dennis Michael Keefe, Rachel Lee, Lauren Marcus, Chris Miller, Bonnie Milligan, Alexander Sage Oyen, Chelsea Packard, Rob Rokicki, George Salazar, Analise Scarpaci, Jahn Sood, Sam Tedaldi, Katie Thompson, Nathan Tysen, and more. Up and coming musical theatre writer Zack Zadek performs a concert of his music at Highline Ballroom today, Monday November 11, at 8PM. Directed by Hunter Bird, the concert will be a mix of musical theatre, pop, dance, as well as selections from Zadek's full-length musicals 6 (New York Musical Theatre Festival 2012), and The Crazy Ones (NYMF Reading Series 2013).

Broadway's Marla Mindelle (Sister Act, South Pacific), Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Passing Strange), Taylor Trensch (Matilda, Wicked), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening, Universal/Island Records) and more will join up and coming musical theatre writer Zack Zadek in a concert of his music at Highline Ballroom on Monday November 11, at 8PM. Penobscot Theatre Company has announced the cast and design team for its holiday production of Cinderella: A New Telling of an Old Tale (December 5 - December 29th). Tickets go on sale to the public, Tuesday, October 1st at noon.

Penobscot Theatre's Dramatic Academy students will perform a variety of plays they have developed while also attending classes and workshops. Over forty students have studied acting, voice, stage combat, dance, and clowning in order to share their new experiences with the community in a performance setting.
