The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly will perform the world premiere of a new symphonic concert stage production of Jerry Herman's famous Broadway musical Hello, Dolly! starring versatile singer Sandi Patty as Dolly Levi and renowned Tony Award-winning actor Gary Beach as Horace Vandergelder in Printing Partners Pops Series concerts Friday and Saturday, January 13 and 14, at the Hilbert Circle Theatre and Sunday, January 15, at The Palladium at the Center for Performing Arts in Carmel, Ind.

Mikhail Baryshnikov will perform at an October 4 benefit beginning 'a new collaboration between the Merce Cunningham Dance Company and the Baryshnikov Arts Center,' The New York Times reports. Baryshnikov and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company will perform 'Occasion Piece2,' accompanied by Joan La Barbara and John Kelly performing music from John Cage's 'Song Books.' The film 'With Merce,' created by Charles Atlas, will also be shown.

Gerald Goehring, Michael F. Mitri and Dorothy Berloni are developing BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE, a new Broadway musical based on the popular 2000 novel by Kate DeCamillo. A developmental reading will be staged in early 2012, followed by an out of town engagement and Broadway production, the timing of which will be confirmed at a later date.

Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, will return to The Public Theater this spring for a limited seven-week engagement. Created by Elevator Repair Service, this award-winning theatrical event, directed by John Collins and featuring Scott Shepherd as Nick, will begin previews on Wednesday, March 14 and run through Sunday, May 6 for 28 performances only in the Newman Theater.
