Grammy Award-winner and two time Emmy nominee Steve Tyrell celebrates his 13th anniversary performing in Caf Carlyle's revered holiday slot with an all-new show, A Song For You, November 28-December 31. A Song For You will feature romantic selections from the likes of Leon Russell and Van Morrison among others as well as various favorites from the Great American Songbook.

From the first note of In The Neighborhood coming from the fire escape on the side stage to the incredible finale of Stand By Me, center stage in front of a door stoop, only one word could describe the high-energy, powerhouse performances in Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller at Show Palace Dinner Theatre in Hudson: Wow. They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway -they say there's always magic in the air… And soon, there will surely be some of that Broadway magic gracing the Flat Rock Playhouse Mainstage, "mountain-style", with the return of the State Theatre's 2007 hit, Smokey Joe's Cafe!  Performing the Music of the great Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller, the band will be jumpin' and the joint will begin to swing until everyone in the historic barn theatre is singin' and dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock!  As the first large-scale musical production of the 2017 Mainstage Series, Smokey Joe's Cafe will run on the Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock from April 21st through May 13th, featuring a cast of nine spectacular performers and a rockin' band of six musicians who will bring down the house with this musical masterpiece.

Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 102nd Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Thursday, April 6 at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.  Hale is one of the few people still performing who was actually a close friend of Holiday's, playing for her on the 'Stars of Jazz' TV show, and on several recordings and live appearances.

ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, will present legendary composer Stephen Schwartz with its prestigious Founders Award at its 32nd annual ASCAP Screen Music Awards on Tuesday, May 16. The exclusive, invitation-only gala celebrates ASCAP's top film, television and videogame composers of 2016 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.

Smokey Joe's Cafe is a musical revue showcasing 39 pop standards, including rock and roll and rhythm and blues songs written by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

Legendary songwriter Mike Stoller and his wife, musician-singer Corky Hale, will chair the 12th edition of the Los Angeles Italia Film, Fashion and Art Fest, which runs Feb. 19-25 at the Chinese Theatre, 6925 Hollywood Blvd., opening with Gianfranco Rossi's Oscar-nominated documentary "Sea of Fire."  The festival puts Italian cinema in the spotlight through a series of premieres, screening retrospectives and exhibitions, and Rossi will be presented with a special L.A. Italia Award as "Master of Documentary".

Following three previous sold-out engagements, Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes back Grammy Award-winning vocalist, Steve Tyrell, for four performances only: Thursday, March 30 (8 p.m.); Friday, March 31 (8 p.m.); Saturday, April 1 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, April 2 (7 p.m.).
