According to Deadline.com, Glee, Modern Family, The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, and Temple Grandin were all recipients of Humanitas Prizes, which were awarded today in Beverly Hills. The prizes are meant to recognize writers whose work 'entertain, engage and enrich the viewing public.'

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

According to a report by TVGuide.com, Mamie Gummer will be returning to 'The Good Wife' as Nancy in the upcoming season. Gummer, who will soon be starring in Shonda Rhimes' latest creation on ABC, 'Off the Map', is currenty engaged to BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON star Ben Walker. her past Broadway credits include: the 2008 revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses and The 24 Hour Plays.
Carrie Preston to Guest Star on 'The Good Wife'

Stage and screen star Carrie Preston will guest star on a multiple episode arc of the hit television show CBS later this season. Preston will play one of a team of lawyers called in to air Chris North's character, Peter Florick.
