The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the motion picture and long-form television nominations for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. The categories include: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures; and The David L. Wolper Producer of the Year Award in Long-Form Television. The documentary film category and other television category nominations were already announced by the Guild in December 2011.

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation during the 2011 season. The winners will be honored at the 2012 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

According to EW.com, stage and screen star Harvey Fierstein has signed on to join the third season of CBS' THE GOOD WIFE as a judge. He'll play 'a liberal, ex-hippie type who marches to a different drummer. He'll preside over a case Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is working on with a sharp eye, but rather laid-back speech.'

According to Deadline.com, Tony winner Alan Cumming has signed on for three more seasons of CBS' 'The Good Wife.' Cumming, who stars as campaign manager Eli Gold in the series, will becoming a series regular.

CBS's drama 'The Good Wife' often features court cases based in part on real-life issues; on Tuesday, March 1st, the show takes on social networking with a man suing a social networking site for failing to protect his privacy, TV Guide reports. The man will be played by 'Lost' veteran Ken Leung, and the CEO of the website will be played by John Benjamin Hickey, who most recently appeared on Broadway in 2009's Mary Stuart.
