Stage and screen star Alan Cumming will join James Franco (127 Hours), Claire Danes and Catherine Keener in the film-in-the-making, Maladies, according to The Hollywood Reporter.Maladies, directed by Carter, will portray a successful actor plagued by a mental illness and therefore forced to retire at a young age.
