Roundabout Theatre Company's new production of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley's Folly, directed by Michael Wilson, features Danny Burstein as 'Matt Friedman' and Sarah Paulson as 'Sally Talley.' Performances began February 9th, 2013 and it opened last night, March 5, 2013 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). Due to a scheduling conflict, the Kindling Theater Company will now present its inaugural production, the world premiere of The Future Is Not What It Was, written by Michael Rabe and directed by Jay Stull, beginning Saturday, January 12 at 8pm. The production, formerly scheduled for The Wild Project, will instead be presented at Soho Rep's Walkerspace, 46 Walker Street. The new opening night is set for Monday, January 21 at 8pm.

It was an emotional evening last night as THE MERCHANT OF VENICE celebrated its official opening night on Broadway. On Friday, the show announced that it would push back it's official press opening to accommodate its star, Lily Rabe whose mother, actress sadly Jill Clayburgh passed away at 66 on November 5. Star of the stage and screen, Jill Clayburgh passed away yesterday, November 5, at the age of 66. Clayburgh lost a 21 year battle with chronic leukemia. Clayburgh is survived by her husband, playwright David Rabe, and her daughter, Lily Rabe, who is currently starring in the Broadway production of 'The Merchant of Venice.'

The Gala took place at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in an dinner and auction event hosted by Wallace Shawn and Jeff Whitty.
