Tonight at 8/7c, Jeffery Deaver's Best Selling Lincoln Rhyme series premieres on NBC in the new mid-winter show Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. The premiere is based on the first novel in the series, entitled THE BONE COLLECTOR.

First-time feature director Tom Phillips and renowned punk/hard core music legend Harley Flanagan will host a one-­time, premiere screening of Phillips' new film BETWEEN WARS at The Music Lodge's Screening Room in Park City on Tuesday, January 28th at 3:00pm.

If you're itching to watch Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector a little early, you're in luck. The upcoming NBC crime drama series doesn't officially premiere until Friday, Jan. 10, but the pilot is currently available to stream on Hulu and NBC.com as a sneak peek ahead of the linear premiere.

Giant Pictures has acquired the US rights for Bruno de Almeida's new movie, Cabaret Maxime, starring Michael Imperioli. It will open theatrically at the Metrograph in NYC on February 21st, ahead of a national, multi-platform rollout on March 3rd.

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® (Anna Strasberg, Artistic Director) will host its 50th Anniversary Celebration, “THE NEXT 50 YEARS,” on Monday, November 4, 2019 in the Rosenthal Pavilion overlooking Washington Square Park at New York University (60 Washington Square South). The celebration is a gala benefit for The Lee Strasberg Creative Center®, which has provided scholarships to students for 42 years. The Public Theater and Onassis USA today announced additional FREE programming and participants for the ONASSIS FESTIVAL 2019: DEMOCRACY IS COMING, running April 10-28 at The Public Theater and also La MaMa. Actors Phylicia Rashad and Andre Holland, performer/singer-songwriter Diana Oh, architect Elizabeth Diller, author Siri Hustvedt, and Kostis Velonis' art installation Life Without Tragedy join the Festival lineup.

Warner Bros. has announced that New Line's Sopranos prequel, Newark, will open on September 25, 2020, according to Deadline.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Best Wishes, the second album by pioneering hardcore band Cro-Mags, vocalist/bassist Harley Flanagan will tour performing a set with “the best” from Best Wishes, plus other songs from all over Cro-Mags' career. According to Variety, the previously announced film prequel to the HBO crime drama series The Sopranos, has found its director in Alan Taylor, a veteran director of the series.
