This year's honorees include Barbara Cook, Neil Diamond, Yo-Yo Ma, Sonny Rollins and Meryl Streep.

Last night, The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts honored its 2011 recipients of their distinguished award. The 2011 honorees include Barbara Cook, Neil Diamond, Yo-Yo Ma, Sonny Rollins & Meryl Streep. The gala will be broadcast on CBS on December 27, 2011 at 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT

BBC AMERICA and NPR announced today that the Peabody Award-winning radio quiz show, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, will make its television debut on BBC AMERICA with a '2011 Year in Review' special on Friday, December 23, 8:00pm ET/PT. The year-end special will also broadcast on NPR stations on that weekend, December 24 and 25.

Playing Jan. 6-22 with discounted previews Jan. 3, 4, and 5, God of Carnage is a comedy of BAD manners where two sets of Brooklyn parents attempt to have a civilized discussion about their children's playground scuffle.

The New York Times reports today that a FINDING NEVERLAND musical has been greenlighted by The Weinstein Company for further development following successful readings in London last week. The project was last workshopped in New York this past spring and was scheduled to premiere at the La Jolla playhouse this fall. The Weinstein's pulled the project at the last minute (which was replaced at La Jolla by the Startford Festival's Jesus Christ Superstar, currently running) to develop further. Tony Award winner Rob Ashford helms the project, which has Broadway apsirations. The project marks the first musical on which the Weinstein company is lead producer.

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre announces an additional two-week of its hit 20th anniversary production of Brian Friel's Tony Award-winning play DANCING AT LUGHNASA, with performances now set to run through January 29, 2012 on the Irish Repertory's Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage (132 West 22nd Street).
