The Guerrilla Shakespeare Project will bring William Shakespeare's rarely produced, controversial, tragicomedy THE TWO NOBLE KINSMEN to the Medicine Show Theatre through January 17, 2010.

Day two of the hit reality TV show 'American Idol' continued tonight, moving the audition phase to Atlanta, Georgia, with guest judge Mary J. Blige. Atlanta proved rather comparable to last night's Boston auditions for the less-than-stellar singers, but, for a city that has featured the likes of Fantasia Barrino and Jennifer Hudson (both who held their initial audition in Atlanta), seemed to lack some of the more extraordinary performers. Although there were several good singers in the mix, the more colorful performances stole the show.

The Guthrie today announced that Four Humors Theater, Sandbox Theatre, Lamb Lays with Lion and New Theatre Group will each present one of their acclaimed productions as part of Singled Out: A Festival of Emerging Artists.

A CABLE FROM GIBRALTAR, the unusual new comedy by Daniel Meltzer about the intersecting lives of two couples over a lifetime, their good fortune and bad choices, literally from cradle to creeping decrepitude, opens Saturday evening, February 6, 2010, at 8 PM for 17 performances at the Medicine Show Theatre.

Last Life written by Eric Sanders and Directed by Timothy Haskell will play its last two performances as part of the Fight Fest shows that have been extended on January 8th at 11 pm, and January 9th at 10 pm at The Brick.

On November 11-15, New Orleans Fringe will host its second annual theater festival: over 45 theater groups from New Orleans and around the country will present over 120 shows at venues throughout the city. Zachary James, Broadway actor and Opera singer recently founded the new NYC experimental opera company, Metropolis Opera Project. He recently appeared in Lincoln Center?s South Pacific as an original cast member, and in 2010, will be playing Lurch in The Addams Family.
