Railbird Festival, a new world-class music festival led by AC Entertainment coming to The Grounds at Keeneland August 10-11, 2019, is proud to present its inaugural lineup, ticket levels, premium festival experiences and more. Those topping the weekend's bill include American rock supergroup The Raconteurs (Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler) and singer-songwriter Hozier, whose latest album Wasteland, Baby! debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Melissa Etheridge has shared the brand new video for 'Wild And Lonely', the latest track to be taken from her forthcoming studio album, The Medicine Show, out April 12th via Snakefarm Records in the UK / Concord Records.

Normal Ave finishes its successful 2018-19 season with Sons of the Prophet by Stephen Karam, directed by Shannon Molly Flynn. The show runs April 25-May 5 at Normal Ave's Medicine Show Theatre at 549 West 52nd Street in Manhattan.

Normal Ave is proud to announce a merger with Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble, Inc. Normal Ave's team has been nominated by the board of Medicine Show to run the operations of Medicine Show's 52nd Street space, which has served as Normal Ave's artistic home for each of its three seasons. Normal Ave will also announce new nominees for its Board of Directors in the coming months. The theatre space is available for rental immediately.

Iconic Grammy and Oscar-winning singer/songwriter and activist Melissa Etheridge has announced the release of her new album, 'The Medicine Show', out April 12th, 2019 via Concord Records and Snakefarm Records in the UK. 

Coming in strong on the heels of a nation-wide tour, capped off with a sold-out show at Boston's Paradise Rock Club and a jam-packed set on Cayamo Cruise, The Ghost of Paul Revere has revealed a new string of tour dates for spring 2019. The foot-stompin', folk-hollerin' boys of Maine will kick things off in the Northeast before embarking throughout New England. The band's route will also include appearances at Papa Joe's Banjo-B-Que Festival, featuring Greensky Bluegrass, Old Crow Medicine Show, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and more, as well as the inaugural 4848 Festival, which features the likes of Umphrey's McGee,Greensky, the Stringdusters, and Railroad Earth.

Known for her passionate and dynamic live performances, iconic GRAMMY and Oscar-winning singer/songwriter and activist Melissa Etheridge will bring "The Medicine Show Tour" to Indian Ranch in Webster, MA on Saturday, June 29th. It's time to saddle up for a 10-gallon historical hoedown. The Center for Puppetry Arts is rounding up some of America's most famous heroes and heroines to present a production packed with tall tales, twangy tunes (performed live) and glory stories of the American west.

We live in an age where our leaders convince people that made-up things are really true. That's what witches do.  So the Witches are the preoccupation of First Maria Ensemble's upcoming production of 'Macbeth,' directed by Celeste Moratti, to be presented December 6 to 21 at Teatro Circulo, 64 East 4th Street.  The company made an auspicious debut in 2016 with 'Hamlet,' which Theater Pizazz (JK Clarke) called one of the season's best small-company productions of Shakespeare plays and Front Row Center (Holli Harms) added, 'Here is hoping that Celeste Moratti continues on this trajectory of directorial discoveries.'

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of BITTER GREENS, written by Clea DeCrane and directed by Kevin Kittle. Produced by Station 26 Productions, BITTER GREENS begins performances on Friday, December 7 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 23. Press Opening is Friday, December 14 at 7:30 PM. The War and Treaty were recently featured on WXPN “World Café.” Listen/share HERE. Hosted by NPR's Ann Powers, the performance and interview were recorded live from Nashville's Sound Stage Studios and features songs from the duo's acclaimed debut album,Healing Tide. Of the husband and wife pair—Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Blount-Trotter—World Café praises, “The War and Treaty makes inspirational music pulled from a deep experience of both American roots music and the couple's personal experience of surviving and thriving in the sometimes perilous 21st Century.”

New Repertory Theatre presents the New England Premiere of We Will Not Be Silent, the docudrama by playwright David Meyers. Directed by New Rep Artistic Director Jim Petosa, the production runs October 13 through November 4, 2018 in the main stage theater at the Mosesian Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA.
