The Raconteurs, Hozier, Tyler Childers, Brandi Carlile to Headline Railbird Festival

Railbird Festival, a new world-class music festival led by AC Entertainment coming to The Grounds at Keeneland August 10-11, 2019, is proud to present its inaugural lineup, ticket levels, premium festival experiences and more. Those topping the weekend's bill include American rock supergroup The Raconteurs (Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler) and singer-songwriter Hozier, whose latest album Wasteland, Baby! debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Normal Ave is proud to announce a merger with Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble, Inc. Normal Ave's team has been nominated by the board of Medicine Show to run the operations of Medicine Show's 52nd Street space, which has served as Normal Ave's artistic home for each of its three seasons. Normal Ave will also announce new nominees for its Board of Directors in the coming months. The theatre space is available for rental immediately.

Coming in strong on the heels of a nation-wide tour, capped off with a sold-out show at Boston's Paradise Rock Club and a jam-packed set on Cayamo Cruise, The Ghost of Paul Revere has revealed a new string of tour dates for spring 2019. The foot-stompin', folk-hollerin' boys of Maine will kick things off in the Northeast before embarking throughout New England. The band's route will also include appearances at Papa Joe's Banjo-B-Que Festival, featuring Greensky Bluegrass, Old Crow Medicine Show, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and more, as well as the inaugural 4848 Festival, which features the likes of Umphrey's McGee,Greensky, the Stringdusters, and Railroad Earth.

That's what witches do.  So the Witches are the preoccupation of First Maria Ensemble's upcoming production of 'Macbeth,' directed by Celeste Moratti, to be presented December 6 to 21 at Teatro Circulo, 64 East 4th Street.  The company made an auspicious debut in 2016 with 'Hamlet,' which Theater Pizazz (JK Clarke) called one of the season's best small-company productions of Shakespeare plays and Front Row Center (Holli Harms) added, 'Here is hoping that Celeste Moratti continues on this trajectory of directorial discoveries.'

Produced by Station 26 Productions, BITTER GREENS begins performances on Friday, December 7 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 23. Press Opening is Friday, December 14 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Saturday at 7:30 PM; and Sunday at 2:30 PM. Please note: there is an added performance on Saturday, December 8 at 2:30 PM. The War and Treaty were recently featured on WXPN “World Café.” Listen/share HERE. Hosted by NPR's Ann Powers, the performance and interview were recorded live from Nashville's Sound Stage Studios and features songs from the duo's acclaimed debut album,Healing Tide. Of the husband and wife pair—Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Blount-Trotter—World Café praises, “The War and Treaty makes inspirational music pulled from a deep experience of both American roots music and the couple's personal experience of surviving and thriving in the sometimes perilous 21st Century.”
