Into the Woods original cast member Pamela Winslow Kashani brings her autobiographical solo show Change Happens to New York next month at The Laurie Beechman Theatre for one-night only, Wednesday, October 20th at 7PM.

Perhaps best known to Canadian audiences as the original 'Christine' in the Toronto Production of The Phantom of the Opera, world-class soprano Rebecca Caine returns to Toronto this week for a very special concert at The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. 'Raising Caine' plays one night only on October 15th, 2010 and Rebecca took a few minutes to talk with BWW about coming back to Toronto and what to expect at her concert.

Since I started writing theatre reviews a few years back one of the most interesting things that's occurred has been the opportunity to watch performers grow and take risks. A little over a year and a half ago I had the chance to cover Ben Nordstrom's first cabaret performance at the Kranzberg Arts Center, and I thought he did a solid job, but I could tell he was still finding his way as a solo performer. However, if his concert at the Sheldon this past Tuesday (10/5/2010) is any indication, he's really coming into his own as a solo singer who can engage and captivate a crowd with both his voice and personality

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor will co-star in the world premiere comedy TRUST, written by Paul Weitz, directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. The production runs through September 5.
