Pamela Winslow Kashani Brings CHANGE HAPPENS to NYC 10/20

Into the Woods original cast member Pamela Winslow Kashani brings her autobiographical solo show Change Happens to New York next month at The Laurie Beechman Theatre for one-night only, Wednesday, October 20th at 7PM. All proceeds from the event will benefit the services and programs of The Actors Fund. There is a $20 cover charge, as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum (a full dinner menu is available). Winslow Kashani's autobiographical Change Happens, tells her "Cinderella" story of getting to Broadway, weathering ups and downs in Hollywood, making a quantum leap into motherhood and then engaging on a universal quest for spiritual truth to try and make sense of what it is to be human. The show includes music from legendary composers Stephen Sondheim, Maury Yeston, and Jerry Herman and others, as well as original music by Winslow Kashani. Pamela Winslow Kashani originated the role of Rapunzel in the Broadway Production of Into the Woods. Most recently she appeared in Paradise Found the new musical from Harold Prince and Susan Stroman. Also on Broadway Pamela played Lucille in Meet Me in St. Louis, Babette (the feather duster) in Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. Across the US Pamela has played leading roles at many regional theaters including Santa Barbara CLO, La Jolla Playhouse, the Mark Taper Forum, MTSC, Denver Center Theater, the Westport/Cape/Ogunquit Playhouses and Connecticut Repertory Theater.

Pamela is co-creator of Apples and Oranges Productions, the film, television and theater Production Company she runs with her husband Tim Kashani. Recently winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics' Circle Awards for producing the 2010 Best Musical Memphis, Pamela and Apples and Oranges are also proud to have been on the producing team of the Broadway revival of Hair, which won all three of the aforementioned awards in 2009. On the film side, Apples and Oranges Productions' short film Back to Me has recently been honored at over 20 festivals worldwide.
