Alley Theatre presents Red March 2 - March 25, 2012 on the Hubbard Stage. The cast features two returning actors, Tony-nominated Scott Wentworth as Rothko and Jay Sullivan, who was last seen as Peter Pan, as Rothko's assistant Ken.

Last year around this time, Elevator Repair Service had Gotham playgoers abuzz with their cover-to-cover, word-for-word staging of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, re-titled Gatz. Director John Collins' off-beat adaptation, which had Computer Age office workers assuming the roles of Fitzgerald's Jazz Agers, intrigued many, but also terrified quite a few with its six hour and twenty minute length. (Intermissions and a dinner break stretched the production to over eight hours.)

Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that The Select (The Sun Also Rises), created by Elevator Repair Service (ERS) based on Ernest Hemingway's novel, The Sun Also Rises, and directed by John Collins, will begin performances Friday, August 19 at 7pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery.
