Prospect Theater Company presents The Underclassman, an original musical that explores F. Scott Fitzgerald's coming of age as a writer on the eve of World War I, and his first romance with the elusive debutante Ginevra King. Performances are November 9, 2014 with the run extended now through November 30 at The Duke on 42nd Street, located at 229 W. 42nd Street, NYC. Before performances begin November 9, Prospect Theater Company has announced an extension of performances for The Underclassman, an original musical that explores F. Scott Fitzgerald's coming of age as a writer on the eve of World War I, and his first romance with the elusive debutante Ginevra King. Performances are November 9 through November 30 (originally scheduled through November 23), at The Duke on 42nd Street, located at 229 W. 42nd Street, NYC. Press Opening is November 19 at 7:30pm. On Saturday, December 7, TheatreWorks opened the Broadway musical 'Little Women' to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd in Palo Alto, CA. After the performance, attendees emerged into the courtyard of the Lucie Stern Theatre to find snow - make with theatre magic! - followed by a champagne reception and meet-and-greet with the cast. Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) announces a one-show-only concert reading of their original musical The Flood, on Saturday, October 19th at 3pm. First developed by Prospect in 2000-2001, with a subsequent full production in 2006, the book, music and lyrics of this new musical are by founding company members Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. This special encore concert presentation will raise funds to support Prospect's work developing new musicals by emerging writers.
