Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) presents Shakespeare's intimate tragedy of heartbreak and revenge, OTHELLO. Staged by UK award-winning director Jonathan Munby, the production features James Vincent Meredith in the title role as the Moor. Munby imagines Shakespeare's tale in the landscape of a modern-day military base amid the searing themes of revenge, prejudice and passion. Featured in the yearlong Shakespeare 400 Chicago celebration, OTHELLO is presented in CST's Courtyard Theater, tonight, February 18, through April 10, 2016.

terraNOVA Collective and The Playground Theater, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, are pleased to announce the world premiere of DON CHIPOTLE by Juan Francisco Villa (Empanada for a Dream), directed by Jo Cattell. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago. Teatro Vista has announced the addition of two new ensemble members and seven new artistic associates to the company. The new ensemble members include Ramon Camin and Tommy Rivera-Vega. New artistic associates include Jennifer Aparicio, Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel, Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, Isaac Gomez, Ayssette Muñoz, Yunuen Pardo and Jessie Prez.
