The concert, which will feature performances by members of the Broadway theatre community, will take place at the Gershwin Theatre (222 W. 51st St.) and is sponsored by Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Laurence Connor, promises to be the rock event of the year as Tim Minchin (Judas Iscariot) and Ben Forster (Jesus) began rehearsals at a secret location in London this week. The first image of the highly contemporary production has today been revealed - complete with riot police who feature heavily in the opening sequence of the new rock musical production.

On Friday, July 27, All Out Arts will present a reading of '8' by Dustin Lance Black, as a part of its Fresh Fruit Festival. Directed by Brian Maschka, the cast features Jenn Colella, Rick Elice, Mark Fisher, Patrick Hustad, Dan Lauria, Susan O'Connor, Karen Oster, Destan Owens, Roger Rees, Al Sapienza, and David Turner.

The event, taking place from 9pm-2am at Industry will be hosted by Alexis Michelle, and will feature Joe Cassidy, Carrie Manolakos, Patti Murin, Kyle Post, Rachel Potter, Daniel Reichard and 2/3 Goat. Tickets are a $30 minimum donation to Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids.

On 10 May, 2012, following an all-day meeting at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, the CATS judges announced the following shortlists for the ten categories of the 2011-12 awards. The winners will be announced at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow, on Sunday 10 June.

My first introduction to Mark Fisher Fitness was this photo. A friend and colleague had just completed a several month stretch of fitness training with the muscle toning guru and posted this shot on Facebook. It is the photo I at least have always wanted; my regular, normal-looking self transformed into a perfectly healthy, perfectly sculpted version of model proportions, only this wasn't Photoshopped.
